Our Honeymoon

As a companion to the post I did yesterday on our wedding I thought I would post some photos of our honeymoon. We vacationed in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Banff was Canada’s first national park and it is located in the Canadian Rockies. It spans two provinces, although we only visited the portion in Alberta.We stayed in downtown Banff and while we were there we were able to visit Lake Louise, the Banff Hot Springs and hike in the Rockies. The scenery was beautiful. Since we went in May there was still a little snow on the ground in places and some ice was still on the lakes. However it was completely amazing and I would totally go again if given the chance. The day we left it even started snowing as we were driving out of the park.We also stayed two nights in Calgary, AB. This was interesting because we got a chance to see a small portion of the city. It really seemed like any other big city though so there isn’t too much to say. We did drive by the Olympic village from 1988. It was interesting to see that in passing. I hope you enjoy the photos!
